We are ready to burn this thing! Historically it has been in the shop more than it's been on the road! Is anyone else having issues with draining batteries! In trying to correct this we have found multiple switches that were never hooked up from the factory, including the auxiliary generator switch!

After mutiple visits to the shop, the batteries died last night after 6 hours with nothing but the fridge on! Something is draining them!

In addition, now the water pump isn't working! Switch light comes on but not the pump.

Yes, we have replaced the batteries multiple times. Yes we installed a battery shut off switch, which actually works when it is stored.

ANY HELP?? We are at a total loss!!!

You have a residential refrigerator, this means it will drain the batteries within 6 - 8 hours including other loads on the batteries. Isolating, loads is the easiest method for determining where they are coming from.

Inclined to agree, but we shut off everything, including the fridge at night and the batteries are still dead. Until we recently put the shut off directly on the batteries it was dying in storage as well. Something else is drawing them down!

The good news is that we just had the auxiliary generator button hooked up (another quality control issue from the factory) so at least we can charge the batteries up now. 12 batteries later!

A mechanical battery disconnect is best for anyone who stores their RV...good job for doing that mod.

The BatteryControlCenter with battery disconnect itself (aptly named the "salesman switch") can drain the battery bank...parasite draw over long period will kill even the biggest battery banks.

And some RV's have the inverter on a dedicated feed from the batteries...inverters will drain juice even with no load on the 110VAC side. It is like a "tax" and the bigger the inverter, the bigger the tax.

Water pump was working, right? Light-on means there is power to the circuit. It has a dedicated fuse that needs to be checked...and the impeller can jam if something entered the pump.

Sorry for your trials. Seems the dealer did not conduct a thorough PDI upon purchase (switches not connected?). Always sad to read about dealers failing the buyer at sale or service.
But from the descriptions, seem like these are somewhat minor problems...and certainly easy to correct.

RV ownership is either a learning experience -or- a quick route to a light wallet.

Low voltage was occurring on my batteries the Trombetta was failing and draining my batteries on 2016 Tuscany 46At - replaced it (under warranty) all is good now...
