2015 Thor Vegas Wipers

Had it for 2 months. Driven 2200 miles. Today is the first time I've used the wipers for an extended period. Worked fine at first. Pushed toggle switch up, wipers came on high speed. Toggled down to low. Toggled down again to intermittent short interval. Toggled again and again for longer intervals. Pushed toggle in to turn off. Raining steady, flipped toggle up, wipers came on medium speed. Pushed toggle up for faster, no change in speed. Then, wipers stopped about 1/3 through cycle. No matter how I jiggled the toggle switch...nothing. Pushed the toggle button to turn off, wipers returned to off position. Pushed up on toggle, wipers ran at medium speed. Push down on toggle, wipers stop completely, won't go to intermittent. Must push toggle to turn completely off. Will run, but only at medium speed. Under dash fuse is fine. Could it be HC relay?

Following up to my own thread. Fixed the wipers. It was the connection to the switch. Wasn't firmly seated. Worked it's way out leaving enough connection for a single mode of operation. Squeezed myself under the driver's side dash, saw the switch (square black box, the size of a matchbox). White clip connector with two wires attached. Disconnected the clip and firmly reconnected it and...wallah, wipers work at all speeds to include intermittent. Read on if you care to know how I discovered.

Pulled the wiper HS micro relay from the engine compartment fuse box. Took it to Auto Zone and described to the counter guy what was going on. He said, "It's not the relay because the wipers will run. Sounds like the switch to me." The rest is history.

Bryant...some would use that as an excuse to move up a size or 2 in motorhomes! Ha ha ha. Thanks for sharing the fix. Rest assured you will have more oppertunities to fix something!

Joe, believe it or not, Jackie has been combing the internet looking at 30-40' rigs. This could be trouble, more than I could fix!
