2016 1960s-1970s

We've been looking at the usual list of "new" motorhomes for about three years now - Winnebago, Newmar, Thor, Entegra, Tiffin, etc...

They all have interiors that look like they were made for the mid-last century. Even the rollout of new Newmars leaves us thinking we jumped back in time to the 1970s.

We never really looked at Newell because they're out of our price range. But we did get to see one.

My goodness, the Newell interior looks like a modern day motorhome. So we looked at a ten year old Newell and it looks modern. Besides that, it has steerable tag axle, a 20K generator, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, and more.

Now, we can see advantages of "new", but geez. Winnebago, love your new 42HD floor plan, but get someone under the age of eighty to design your interior. The baby boomers are ready to buy but don't want to move in to their great-grandmothers house.
