2016 Holiday Rambler

Hi, I am new here, just wondered if anyone has delt with flooring issues? It's been in the shop for 9 weeks for a whole list of issues, the floor is horrible chips out of it scratches everywhere and after 9 weeks and a rep from HR it's still not right. Suggested they put in a new floor, still waiting to hear on that one. They do want us to bring it to them in Indiana. Anyone delt with HR and have any luck?

So can I assume this is under warranty and your getting stalled by both the dealer and the manufacturer....

I'd do some research about your lemon law in your state... I'm hoping that your states lemon law covers RV's and that maybe you can apply some pressure or recourse this way.....

I can tell you... if this was a car/pickup you'd have a new vehicle by now..

Take it to them in Decatur, IN. They have a great rep for service there. Just a question. Was the flooring in that condition when you purchased? And if so, why didn't you deal with it then or pass on the unit.

I have the last year of the Navistar Holiday Rambler and purchased it the day the sale to then ARV Group was finalized. Warranty work was performed at the then Fleetwood service center in Decatur. They honored all parts of the warranty and went beyond their responsibility under the warranty. Very professional and great people to work with. A driver picked the coach up, drove it to Decatur. Quite a few items to be looked at, had conference calls weekly then when finished wife and I were flown to Decatur and the service guys went over every issue. One battery was bad and on backorder so all new batteries were installed. Drove coach home at REV's expense, flight, food, fuel etc. I can't believe how well we were treated and would not hesitate to go back. Great experience.

I feel your pain...Mine originally stayed at a local authorized service center for 12 weeks, 8 weeks before they even looked at it. Monaco stopped doing business with these folks and took control of the issue sending the coach to Decatur. I feel better bypassing small dealers and service facilities and going directly to the factory. In the long run it's worth the drive.

I would definitely disagree it is limited to generalrv.
Mine has been at Lazydays Tampa since the first week of March (almost 4 months now, 17 weeks). needless to say I am VERY disappointed with Lazydays. I even went up the chain there from service adviser to service manager to service director and even customer service manager. I got a lot of promises and yes sirs but no action.
I am tired of waiting so I will be pulling it out soon (well, as soon as I have a trip planned). The remaining items will be done at the service center in Decatur. I called FW (ARG or REV now) and they have been good to deal with. They said to document everything not done and when I get to Dectaur it will be taken care of (even if out of warranty, as long as I document it before the warranty is up). They even followed up and put it in writing.

Kudos to FW/REV for treating me like a valued customer.
Lazydays? Not so much

I have a 2015 hr vacationer and live in mass, I take my coach to Decatur for service and no where else. It's worth the trip, the work they do is top shelf and they address every issue you tell them about and anything else they find while working on your coach. They have access to all parts and drawings and there is no waiting for approval. I've had a great experience with my holiday rambler so far. The only issue I had was with the dealer I bought it from, they worked on three small issues I found during the pdi for just under a year. When I went to Decatur I told the service manager about them and they were corrected in 40 minutes. Like I said, make the time and take your coach the factory service center for repair, it will be worth it.
