2016 Nexus 34B - opinions please

We are getting ready to RV full time. We have ruled out toy haulers and Class A with garage. We just came across the new 2016 Nexus. Looking for a shorter Class A that will tow 10,000 lbs. We will be pulling a trailer with car and 2 motorcycles. Does anyone own one of these yet or have an opinion on the Nexus model. I have not found any other rig that fits what we are looking for.

Hi there, try searching for Nexus under the class A discussions. WillandJane just picked one of these up and are on the shake down trip . Nexus worked with them regarding the adjustment of the drivers seat and several other items. We Will be at the RV show in PA this week and the Nexus is one we will be seriously checking out. DH likes the materials used in construction, that Nexus works with the buyer, and the price point/value.

The Nexus definitely looks like an interesting coach. High-end amenities in a smaller, more maneuverable package is something that seems to be missing in most manufacturers' lineups (the Tiffin Breeze at least originally started out to be that kind of option, but doesn't seem to have gained enough traction for some reason).

Here's a link to the thread here on iRV2... read through it and you'll get WillandJane's input on their purchase experience. They're currently driving back to California from Indiana doing their "shakedown" drive and will most likely have lots more input as they go along:

Nexus diesel pusher

The only odd thing I've seen in the discussion that sounds quite right (and possibly a deal-breaker for a full-timing coach) is that WillandJane said the instant-hot water heater was 110V electric ONLY. So no hot water for showers/dishes unless you're hooked to shore power or running the generator. I'm hoping they're just missing the switch that would turn on a propane or diesel heat source... but if not, that would be a must-change item if I ordered one.
