see, I'd actually shuffle to put the smaller tire ON the steer axle; most motorhomes aren't loaded near their front axle max anyway, and if you it on the back, that dual "pair" will have a short tire and a tall one, which I would think would lead to uneven loading and all kinds of ugly things.
