3 6v batteries

B Need some help on connecting (3) 6v house batteries, I have (2) 6v interstate batteries and added a third, I'm not sure how to or what's the proper sequence to connect them.... (i added the third battery because i added 175 watts more solar panels)any suggestions ?

You're going to need a 4th battery to keep a 12V system...

Your 2, 6 volt batteries are wired in series to create a 12 volt pair.

To add capacity with 6 volt batteries, you will always need to add them in pairs to maintain 12 volts.

Adding solar doesn't nessesserarly mean you need to add battery capacity.

As long as you have a solar controller, no harm will come to your batteries.

You can add 12 volt batteries in odd numbers, but 6 volt batteries need to be in pairs. 12s are wired parallel, 6s are wired in pairs of 2 in series, then the sets of 2 6s are wired in parallel with each other
