Agree, I used 100 amp load in my calculations to show that even at a load that high the voltage drop would still be less than 5%. The only variable I didn't put in the worst light was conduit since I couldn't think of a way anyone would run their extension cord through a conduit. I even bumped the temperature up to account for what I thought the line would see in these hot FL temps we are experiencing.

At a 50 amp load voltage drop is 1% vs 4.2% at worst case or 2.1% at what I think is probably real for most of us using 6awg
