Check battery connections and plug wires and loose vacuum connections. Can you tell if fuel pump is working? Sometimes you can hear it pumping. Do you have a tow service or warranty for roadside assistance? I feel for ya, I was stranded on the side of I 75 northbound for 7 hours with a load of honey bees about a month ago. Towing service refused to pick me up because of the bees. Had to have a truck trailer brought for 180 miles away in the middle of the night. My problem was a crank sensor and camshaft position sensor. But my mechanic had me run through the checklist above. Best of Luck.

Deb, you have the 6.8L V10 (Ford?) - if so - post over on the F53 forum area..

The Chevy motor is the 8.1L workhorse. It has a separate forum too...

Which motor?
