31sa vs 33c so close or are they

We are looking at a rig that will be for just us and the dogs. Like the layout. What do you think? We have no Tiffin dealers in the Area that have 31sa to inspect closely but the 33c is available at Flagg. Like the 33c but is the quality of Tiffin better?

I don't know what a 33c is or who it is made by. I do know that a 31sa is a Tiffin Allegro Open Road (very popular coach). If you are looking in that size range, you might also want to look at a Tiffin 32sa (king bed version of the 31sa).

Tiffins generally give you more "bang for the buck" with lots of features standard that are expensive options in other coachs.

I assume that by mentioning the 33C, you mean the Fleetwood Bounder 33C, since Flagg has a couple of those in stock.

Yes we are looking at the Tiffin and Fleetwood. We are pretty open to brands but are looking for others ideas.

I don't think Tiffin builds any better than Fleetwood, but their customer service is really excellent. Especially is you take the coach to the Tiffin factory in Red Bay, AL. But Fleetwood factory service (Decatur, IN) is also excellent. Dealer service typically depends more on the dealer than the brand, but Tiffin is probably a bit more flexible than Fleetwood if you have serious problems.

Yes, the 33c and 31sa are similar. 31sa has a split bath being the main difference in the floor plan. We were originally looking at entry level coaches with the Jayco 31ul having been our favorite. Then we decided to check out Tiffins and Fleewooods, and our sub $100k purchase price went out the door very quickly.

We seriously considered the Tiffin 34tga and Fleetwood 34t as well. We thought the Tiffin was well worth the extra $12k or so based on the interior finishing alone, but I am sure the Fleetwood would have been a fine choice as well.

I looked at a Tiffin 31 SA yesterday and I'd say the quality is far superior to the Fleetwood 33c. The SA has all fiberglass front, back and also the roof is onesie piece molded fiberglass. The exterior doors are all slam-shut latches and made out of high grade aluminum - the salesman actually lifted himself up on the door to demonstrate the strength. The interior cabinetry is all solid wood custom made. I was duly impressed. I was also interested in the 33c until I saw the tiffin.

Also, Campers Inn in Union, CT has the 32 SA in there lot. It is the same as the 31 but with a king instead of a queen size bed.
