We have a 2000 37G. The battery box will only hold 4 standard size batteries. It came new to us in 2010 with 2-12 volt batteries. I replaced the upstairs with 2-6 volt deep cycle batteries from Costco. Would like to add 2 more, but there isn't room. One thought that comes to mind is using first bay aft of the entry door, and punching through the foreward bulkhead.
My question here is, has anyone done this or any other modification to this Coach? I know there are many of this type on the road, so surely others have thought about it also.

Good point. However we not only have a Bay that is about 16cf, there is an area of almost 30cf that is a part of the same area. However, as you say, it really is not vented.
