3rd question radio/tape/cd

my 2005 radio/tape/cd: I get sound from both speakers with a tape, but with a CD I only hear sound from the right speaker
any ideas?

Sounds like the CD player isn't picking up or amplifying on both channels. Trying to get it repaired would probably cost more than a new unit. You could ask a shop to look at it, but it will cost for the evaluation. Sadly, most modern electronics are disposable rather than repairable.

You could always use a portable CD player and play it through a tape deck adaptor to hear CDs.
