Are you sure it was 5-2? Rarely have I had it do that since installing the 5 star. Like you said, I marvel at the difference. I sometimes get into a good hill running in 3rd or 4th I think and I keep expecting it to downshift like it use to but nope, it just keeps on pulling! Such a great feeling and Im able to relax and enjoy the ride.

About 98% sure. I have manually put it in 3rd and it doesn't scream. It would be running around 2200 and downshift to what I believe to be 2nd and almost 5000 rpm. It was a much better trip home from Corpus Christi to just east of Houston.

Maybe the 5 star tune did not load ?, try it again and see if it works.

I'm sure it downloaded. Overall performance has noticeably improved. I'll have a better idea in a month as we'll be taking a trip to VA, NC, SC, and GA, then back to TX.

I just now sound proofed our doghouse and haven't had a chance to try it yet. I am hoping it makes a difference in the noise. How did you add soundproofing under the front floors?
