We take our Bounder to a Ford Commercial Truck Dealership. They charge $39.95 for LOF.

Bruadair, Im sure since you are bringing your bounder to the newly acquired monaco factory, they are quoting the price for an oil change on a diesel. They are probably use to seeing many more do's and quoted accordingly. In any event call them back and confirm.

I had Truck Tamer do a mobile alignment on my MH last summer in Coburg OR. I was very pleased with his knowledge, mobile equipment, and pricing. I would not hesitate to have him come to where I am parked again for alignment services.

Stop at a Speedco usually located next to large truck stops, they are a lot more reasonable.

The dealer I used to work for would charge 29.95 for an oil change. It was an extra $80.00 I believe to rotate the tires.

Ford does oil changes for a HECK of a lot less and many Ford dealer have truck bays. My neighbor just has his done at our Ford dealer, $59.95 becasue it was a Workhorse chassis I have heard that even some Walmarts will change oil on gas MH.

Have had oil changed at Walmart for $35 (dino oil, no lube).
Most RV places and truck service centers charge $100 to $150 (maybe as high as $200) to change oil and lube a gas chassis depending on whether dino or synthetic oil is used and what other checks are included (tranny, brakes, etc.).

I'd have to agree with most, that's way to high. $50 - $60 would be the norm doing it yourself with synthetic oil. Possibly they misunderstood and thought you had a diesel.

I paid $39 for one at a Ford dealer. I usually carried. 6 quarts and a filter and had truck stops do the change for $25-30.

I had a quality alignment done at a semi truck frame and alignment shop for $150. They even had to bend the straight axles to adjust camber, which was off. WBGO also said that all the MH's were aligned after the build was done. All of my alignment angles were off. The MH track well and I'll watch the tire wear situation as we get the miles to determine if an alignment issue is present.
You already got all the answers regarding the $600 oil change.
DO NOT STOP BUT GO AND DO COLLECT AT LEAST $500.

Even then I have been quoted around $250 for a diesel lube, oil and filter change at Speedco. Oh I did have one RV place in Georgetown, TX outside of Austin quoted $850 for the above plus genset. After I stopped laughing I said NO THANKS

There is a Speedco in Aurora, just south of Portland I-5 exit 278. Just had my DP done $237 LOF, 2 fuel filters and tire inspection. my first experience with them and all went well.
