I just got an e-mail from Harbor Freight and saw that they have the 6-ton jack stands on sale for $39.95 for a set of two! Good insurance!

That is 6 ton capacity if used as a pair.

Most dp have a 10 ton rear axle, so the advertised pair will work for some front axles.

Yep, Dean, you're absolutely right, but I'd rather have them under there as nothing at all! JMHO

Well said. The 12 ton pair are a bit heavy to carry in a coach but I find them useful at home.
