6volt Batteries

I have (2) Deka GC15 batteries in my 2000 Damon Intruder 351. Does anyone have any experience with these? The specs are comparable to T105's. 120 mins at 75amps. The Trojan are 115 mins at 75 amp.

I'm on shore power or Genny most of the time, I haven't done any boon docking. I take my EU2000 as my boon docking electric.

I'm just wondering kind of life I could possibly get between charges if i only used lights(all LED), maybe furnace (control, fan), and whatever water pump and refer on propane would use.

Any feedback is appreciated.

That is very subjective. The results depend on length of use for each item and battery health. The largest draw is the furnace fan, and will likely run the most. The thing about using 6V batteries is, the amperage rating does not multiply X the number of batteries.

Yeah, I see what you're saying.
I'll look in some boon docking links and see if I can get an idea of what kind of life can be obtained on batteries alone

I live in a 2005 Damon Intruder 377W

The original Interstate U-2200 (Which is right close to what you have) would last, as I recall, most all night with lights, furnace (if needed) and the inverter with TV's off (Night being 10P to six Am or 8 hours)

I eventually added a pair of MK G-31 AGM's for the inverter, but they did not work out well, defently a bad idea to go AGM.

I now run a pair of Deka G-20's (slightly bigger battery than the one you have) wired for 12 volts, and in parallel with them are three Group 29's. I can even watch TV most of the night, run computer and such.
