83 pace arrow water heater

guys
the water heater on my motorhome kicked on for like 30 minutes, then shut off, then it no longer started again. the manual states taht it will shut off at 190 degree, but i dont know hot to make sure thats the issue. any ideas if it is the switch or something else. i can bypass the switch and turn on the gas valves with a screwdriver, but still wont ignite. any ideas.

Thermal fuse 93 degrees celsius. by Thermodisc, Thermal Fuses at Goodman's Small Appliance & Housewares

Thermal limiter fuse.

Looks like a resister, inside a clear plastic sleeve.

Dealer cost will be about twenty dollars.

I found one at Radio Shack for about two dollars.

The above link will show you what it is and how much you can get them for.
