94 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Window motor

I am needing help. My husband was doing normal maintenance on our 94 Pace Arrow and our driver side window decided not to go back up. We called Fleetwood and they want $350 for a new regulator. I read on here to check and see if the marbles are still intact in the gear..they were not, so great help there Now, my hubby's question is , would anyone know where and how much a new power window motor would cost? Any help would be great. Hoping the marbles work, just wanting info for back up. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the power window mechanism in your RV, but I bet it wasn't custom made for Fleetwood. I'd suggest removing the mechanism and taking it to a friendly auto parts store. They might be able to match up an automotive replacement that costs much less than Fleetwood wants to charge. That's the case with step motors, turns out to be a common Ford window mechanism.

I totally agree with Bob, most of these motors ( including step motors) are available at your local auto parts store or on line for less than $40. Seems the manufactures feel RV'ers fall under the Gruber mentality.
