97 National Tradewinds Interior Remodel

Here are some before and after pics of our Tradewinds interior remodel. DW and i decided to do all the work ourselves. It took us a solid 3 weeks of working on it everyday, and even some nights until 2am. It was a lot of work but well worth it. We really enjoyed it and love the results! We spent surprisingly less $$ than we thought we would! I still have nightmares about pulling staples from the floors and painting all that wood!

Well gone. I love the tiling, lots of work but worth the effort.

That looks very nice.
Did you spray or brush the cabinets?

Thanks! We used chalkboard paint on the cabinets applied with brush and the small rollers. Followed up by clear chalkboard paint sealer.

The floor was peel and stick vinyl flooring. Was very easy to install. Did not need extra adhesive for the most part. The vertical portions of the steps required paneling adhesive to hold in place because it was fiberglass underneath and brad nails with the staple gun would not work.Click image for larger version

Yea that was one thing we really wanted to change, but didnt quite know how. DW found a way to paint it with oil rubbed bronze spray paint.
