98 Ford Ranger drive shaft disconnect

I have a 98 Ford Ranger (automatic) that I would like to tow but it seems that the drive shaft disconnects are not being made. I know someone out there has one that they used to use but how in the world to find them! Any ideas?

They have hitches etc, but I need to figure out how to disconnect the drive shaft without having to crawl underneath the truck.

Remco Disconnect still shows the disconnect assembly needed for the 98 Range (and all Rangers thru 2011). See the Remco Disconnect website (URL below). Are you saying they no longer have it available?

1998 - 2011 Ford Ranger | Remco's DriveShaft Coupling

Note that Remco Disconnects is now a separate company from Remco Towing, which only does transmission lube pumps nowadays.

Thank you for the link Gary. It says there are no dealers within 50 miles and to give them a call. I'll try that tomorrow.
