98 holiday rambler-generator will not start

we are newbies. we took out our 98 holiday rambler vacation 4 weeks ago, the generator worked fine. we are at campsite this weekend, generator won't start. we hooked up to 50 amp service for ac use, some of the outlets are not working, the frig not working, ac not working (all worked for 15 min when we first got here, but just stopped. any suggestions?

I assume you checked the breakers and the power at the pedestal to be sure you have both 'legs' on the 50 Amp. I would also check all the breakers in the motorhome as well. Electrical is a bear for me to run through and check so you have about used up all my knowledge! LOL!

Don't forget to check the breakers on the generator.

Yup check the breakers on the genset. Also, assuming a diesel genset, it will not run if your fuel tank is at ABOUT 1/4 tank or below.
