A/C problems

Can anyone tell me where the orifice tube for the dash a/c is located on my 2000 Newmar DutchStar mptorhome?

Welcome to iRV2. and the Newmar family.

Your dash A/C is probably a Evans /Tempcon unit .
The name Evans , should be cast in the plastic housing above the gen set.

Evans Tempcon, Inc - Service Parts

The orifice is usually internal in the expansion valve , located at the connection of the systems supply lines and the evaporator . I'll see if I can track down pictures.

Here's a picture of my dash A/C system , under hood above the gen set.
Expansion valve , blue circle , is wrapped in insulation to prevent freeze up.

I guess , I should ask ; what kind of problems you're having that makes you think there's a problem with the orifice ?
