A/C Run off

We just replaced out '99 Pace Arrow with a '06 Holiday Rambler, and it seems that when you run the A/C on the roof the water runs down the roof and down the body, on the HR it collects on the slide topper and when you roll up it too runs down the windows and body.
Other than being very irritating, and I'm sure we all have the same problem, but it seems that if you spend the money for quality, this issue could be dealt with at the factory and some type of drain could be designed to stop the moisture from collecting on the roof, this can't be good for the roof in the long run.
Has anyone else tried to deal with this issue???? How did it go or not go??????

Have you checked to see if you have roof drains that are clogged?

Maybe some of the top line mh's have a roof ac drain, but all the ones I've owned simply drain to the roof to find a low spot to run off. Some just tilt the mh a slight degree to have it drain where they want it to.

The AirCon run off on my old TT and my MH just travel on the roof to the low point - usually the gutter. My gutters terminate above the front/side windows, so I got Camco gutter extensions to keep it off the window:



I read somewhere that an owner who didn't have gutters - used a bead of silicon to create a dam to guide the run off where they wanted it to go...but to do this, the water has to flow downhill.

Lay a couple beads of silicone caulk down on the roof to create a path the direction you wish the water to exit the roof

Use butyl caulk if you have a rubber roof!
