We bought a 16 yr old Motor home by choice and budget. DH is capable for just about any repair/upgrade.

Thanks to all that the have voted so far. With 105 votes and a sea day on a cruise I decided to do a summary. I was surprised that only 8.6% were Non DIYers...91.4% are DIYer. Fortunately 7 of the 9 Non DIY votes bought new, 78%, a large enough % to say they are more likely to buy new, but not a very large sampling.
Of the DIYers (96 votes) 77% bought used and 23% bought new, so it’s safe to say, most DIYers buy used. By limiting the voting to only one answer (new or used) it made for easier summarizations but left out some situations (bought new and used)...so you had to decide one way or the other.

the options did leave out some...
1) I've bought both new and used multiple times
2) Used to be DIY'er, but don't care/ can't anymore
3) Not a DIY'er , but know a good tech !!!!!
