Aaarrruuuggg!!! Coldsnap!!
So I guess I jumped the gun and dewinterized my motorhome last weekend. Was really enjoying everything being operational and seeing that everything survived the winter. Didn't think we'd get anymore freezing weather and if we did I was prepared to turn some heat on.
Guess what. It did and I didn't!!
Walked in last night to see icicles hanging off the kitchen tap ( has small leak presumably from dry seals I was hoping would clear up itself with use ). Water in toilet wasn't froze and presume holding tanks are ok. But when I turn the water pump on the indicator lights up but I don't hear it running.
Ran the furnace last night but haven't had a chance to take a close look at it yet. Hoping after all thaws everything will be fine. Maybe a reset on the pump, blown fuse, really hoping no burst lines especially where I can't see them.
Anybody run into similar situations or is it just me alone being a bonehead.

I was storing my trailer this winter in central ohio. We had a normal cold winter and had freezing temps at night just a few days ago. Now the switch has turned to warm. Looking 10 days into the future no freezing temps !!!
Humm - it doesn't sound good but keep your fingers crossed. One time I had a 3 season trailer. I had to leave it for two weeks in early October. I did not winterize, I left the trailer plugged in and the thermostat set to 55. Well it got down to 25 a few nights. I was worried. When I got back to it there was no propane left. The trailer was real cold inside. I do not know how long the propane lasted. Outside temp was 30 degrees I packed it up and towed it off a cold mountain top to a place 15 degrees warmer.
Whew - no leaks and everything worked.
I was worried about the hot water heater that only worked on propane and water pump and lines.
If You have pex water lines that might save you.
Good luck.

Used the coach last weekend so obviously had to dewinterize. Now I'm paranoid with this spring blizzard that is hitting us here in CO. I opened up my low point & fresh tank drains as well as the faucets inside Sun nite...I'm hoping I don't have a big mess on my hands come Thursday when I pick it up to go out again this weekend...crossing my fingers...

Yeah, it's winter again here in northern Colorado. Drifts of snow over 1 foot on the deck, in the foothills. Temperatures in the teens. Overnight into the single digits. I like to say that we get about six months of cold weather, four months of heat, and spring and fall are short periods of wild swings. :-). Sure, I know a lot of you have it worse than Colorado. So much for the northern interior. :-)

So........................You jumped the gun and thought summer was here.
Mine is still inside the shop. I would like it to melt and dry up so I can take it on a road test already.
We're supposed to get another 5cm. of snow and blowing/drifting. It's a car show this weekend too, so there will be a lot of people having to transport in crappy weather.

SUCCESS !!!!
TRAILERKING you guys SK are really getting hammered this spring. We have a lot if family there and their Facebook pictures still show a lot of snow around. Hope it's better this weekend, my wife is heading to Weyburn. Sorry for you guys in CO too. Sounds pretty rough.
Well got a few minutes to look at it tonight. Found an inline fuse by the water pump had blown and once I got that changed all seems well. At least the pump isn't running continuously and dumping water into some unseen area. Will have to inspect all areas later but I think I am out of the woods. Next few nights may dip down to freezing but I will now leave the furnace on the lower settings.
Hope this has been a warning to everybody else who's itching to get out and hope they will be a little more vigilant than me.
Thanks for all replies

It was supposed to be crappy with lots more snow. Now they're saying might be rain. I just want it GONE!!!!!!
They're also predicting a 2' higher water table(when it starts melting) than the 2011 flood. I think you guys from Alberta sent it all here.

You should head west. Thinks are looking up here. In the teens all week and my lawn is starting to turn green.
