ABS module

I recently had a ABS module replaced in my 08 Tiffen Allegro with the Ford V10.

The price quoted for this module was $900 +

Is that anywhere near actual cost?

Welcome to irv2.
I guess it would depend on which one you need, if you really need it,, maybe they have high shop costs.

The abs control module went out on my expedition got a price $800 or I could sent it to California to get the bad chip in it replaced for $150.00 or the choice I took was go to a salvage yard and bought one for $34 bucks and got the hole thing pump bracket and module.

Thanks

Your ABS module sounded rather quick and easy - however - mine is in a RV and I have no idea where it is and if I paid WAY too much. It's done now so I'll just have to put this new found knowledge to rest for now.

Does anyone know where the ABS Module is located in a 1998 Class A HR Imperial?

You should probably contact HR and see if they can tell you.

I found mine on a 2002 Windsor. It was located in my small wet bay compartment on the ceiling. It was about 6" X 5" blackish in color. Had a label on it.

Here is a listing for one like mine on Ebay
01 MONACO DIPLOMAT LE 40PBD 8.3L DIESEL, EATON BOSCH 300199 ABS MODULE 18708
