AC / DC Problem - at RV Park now
So we left one RV park yesterday, both air conditioners running fine on 50 amp shore power. Pulled into a new park last night and plugged into 50 amp shore power (that I have verified is hot and appropriate with a tester) and it does not appear that we actually have AC power, so no air conditioners. When I start the generator the air conditioners will work. I have included 4 screen shots from my Firefly controller to help those more experienced than I am. Thor Customer Service is shut down for the long weekend. Anyone help please. Seems odd that this happened with no apparent event. Thanks.

Do you have a 30amp adapter?
If so what happens if you plug in with that?

Sounds like your automatic transfer switch is not switching over to shore power -
With your generator off, try flipping the breakers on the power pole, or unplugging and replug in.... or try another 50amp power outlet to see if the same is occurring there.
If it’s not your ATS, then it could be your shore cord, if one lead is loose or has come undone, which would not provide the power for the a/c unit(s)...

With it working on generator and good shore power I agree it sounds like your transfer switch BUT why are you showing 123/121V on the two legs assuming you are not running the generator...inverter only powers one leg. Does the microwave work when the ACs do not?
I would exercise your AC circuit breakers...on/off several times.

So, again verified that shore power source is not the issue. Turned on and off the main breaker and air cond. breakers several times to no avail. I can run the microwave off the inverter (I have solar panels) and it shows the draw on the DC power screen. I can have several low draw items on in the coach showing amp draw on DC, yet the AC screen shows 0 draw.

All of your pictures show shore power voltage on the screens, so its getting to where ever that unit connects the sense wires.
Do you have a surge guard that may have tripped or failed and can be set to override ?

I believe my transfer switch is a Surge Guard unit. Read the materials that came with the coach and no answers there. Unit has two red light showing on it.

Not sure what the problem might be but a couple of observations based on the four images posted -
1. Home
a. With DC volts at 12.8VDC the charger is not powered. Charge volts would show up on the monitor and would be 13.2VDC or higher.
b. Not exactly sure where the system measures AC volts but with it seeing volts on both lines the CG power is OK and the shore power cord is good.
2. AC Power
a. Same a 1.b. The system see's the volts but no current is flowing.
3. Can't see the Header but I'll call this on DC Power
a. Same as 1.a. If the house converter/charger was receiving AC power the volts would be 13.2 VDC or greater.
4. I/C Status I'm going to presume Inverter/Charger for the I/C
a. Appears the inverter is on line and providing power.
b. AC input of 0 Volts and 0.0Hz pretty much confirms no AC power in the coach.
At this point I would say the Surge Guard ATS is the problem. The ATS has two relays, one for shore power and one for the generator. I suspect the shore relay for some reason is not energizing. But my hypothis only works if the FireFly measurement point is BEFORE the ATS. But without knowing the model of the ATS I'm guessing.
Surge Guard website has troubleshooting help for the five different switches they sell - https://rvpower.southwire.com/produc...sfer-switches/

Slow down there Bubba-Louie...
You stated it just worked and at the new place it doesn’t. Where did you check the voltage at: in the coach or at the parietal, and with what, a plug-in GFI checker or a real meter? Before I would blame the ATS I would look closely at the 50A socket on the pedistal. If you lose neutral, you will lose both phases of 120v in the coach, even though your panel says you have AC present. It could be a high impedence “open”. The meter says it’s fine but you can’t pull any load through the coach. I had exactly this happen at Lake Cahuilla a few years ago

Those two red lights indicate there is problem with the ATS.

I have the Firefly system also and I would guess it's your ATS. Do you get the good solid "clunk" of the switch closing a few seconds after power is applied to the cord? Also try to plug into the 30A plug to see if that makes any difference, should get the same "clunk" of the switch. Check the plugs with a voltage meter if you have one. Your inverter says it'd "on" which tells me you have no 120V in the coach. The inverter is running off the batteries and will switch to "passthrough" when 120V is available.
Also noticed you need to get some LP gas.

First, thanks for all of the great input. I am happy to report that I have functioning 50 amp shore power. Bit of a weird occurrence but goes to show that anything is possible. On a whim, I borrowed a different 50 amp power cord and that corrected the situation. I must have had a wire come loose inside one of the connector ends. Really glad the ATS was not bad. The minute I switched cords and plugged in I got the loud thud of the transfer switch and I knew I was home free.
