That age RV should be a direct blow A/C and the on/off controls and the thermostat are mounted at the unit. Plug the motorhome into 30 amp service and start an A/C unit. There may be a selector switch in a cabinet for Front/Rear/both. You will not be able to run both unless the generator is is running.
You probably do not have transfer switch that switches from shore power to generator, so you will need to plug the power cord into the plug at the generator.
That is my best guess.
Now back to the tires, Check the date code and I would not take the rig on the road if the tires are over 6 years old.
