We own a 2017 thor aria 3601. We just had the front roof ac/heat pump replaced under warranty, however we just picked it back up from the dealer and they said it was fixed. In checking it at their location to make sure it worked, it would not come on while plugged into their 30a shore power but would come on if it was unplugged and the gen was running. As soon as we shut the gen off and plugged it back in to 30a shore power it would not work. They said their 30a might be bad. They did not have a 50a plug set up. Go figure for a dealer not to have one of these. Prior to the unit going bad, i never had a problem with it working while plugged into my 30a shore plug at home.
Does any one have any idea why all of a sudden the unit will not come on while on 30a shore power. Looking for help.

When plugged in to the dealer 30 amp service do you have power for everything else. If you have more than one AC check the other one while plugged in. Also check the voltage at the service..

Yes we have power to everything else. It also would not work on 30A shore power when plugged in at my house. As I indicated it works fine when the generator is running. The generator is putting out 50A. I was only running the front AC unit and not both when we tried it. In our old Winnebago motor home we could select how many A’s we wanted to run on. With this new multiplex system which I’m not to familiar with I’m don’t know it I can change the A’s coming in. Thought maybe something got switched somehow

Was it working before on your 30amp home outlet? Some coaches are wired to only run one AC on 30amp circuits. Also, check your "dog bone" adapter. I bought a new one one time that only sent power to one leg of the 50amp shore cord.
