AC- Operation

New (used) to us Motorhome with a 2 zone duotherm AC/Heat Pump/Furnace. Currently have no operators manual or access to the Internet (only iPhone) to download help from duotherm.

Once we flip the on/off switch....set the fan to Auto....the temp to 72....& the Need some help with setting and operating our Duotherm AC unit. Once we have hit the on/off switch...set the fan to Auto....the Mode to Cool...& the temp to 72......we seem to be having trouble getting the zones correct. Both the front and the rear units kick-in... But only the rear unit is blowing cold while the front seems to be fan only.

1) how do we set the temp for the rear and the temp for the front.... Can they be set independent of each other?

2) how do we have either just the front or just the back unit on? With the furnace we have a thermostat in the bedroom which controls the back of the coach while the Duotherm unit controls the front.

Anyway... Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Jack

The bottom thermostat button should be labeled "zone" (assuming 5 buttons) At the bottom of the "screen" will be a very small 1 & 2 .... When the zone button is pushed the 1 or 2 will be flashing - 1 is front and 2 is rear a/c..
At that time the other four buttons will control the flashing zone. Set it then push the zone button to switch to the other zone... Ditto for it.

I've placed those manuals in the RV Tech Library at RV Tech Library - Thermostats - that should get you going.
