Angry Ace 29.2 Hot Water

We were told when we purchased our Ace that it had an electric and LP hot water heater,,,only to find out that was an option...turns out that our hot water heater is only LP...anyone add an electric hot water heater unit? We were also informed that an electric hot water heater would need to have 50 AMP service but on our HR Admiral 2000 which was a 30 AMP we had an electric/LP hot water heater... it is really inconvenient to have to pull up stakes just to fill the LP tank...

I know that there are conversion kits available at CW and other RV retail stores. Hopefully, someone will "pipe" up with an option for you and a link to a manufacturer. You might want to say what the existing water heater is in your rig.

I put a Hott Rod in mine years ago, works great on 30 amps. It only draws a few amps. It's good for thru the day use, recovery time isn't too fast. For showers we use propane and electric.

We have the ATWOOD LP Water heater 6 gallon. Can it be upgraded to handle both LP and electric?
