acrylic Slide Topper? What do you think? Worth it?

I'm thinking of replacing a worn vinyl slide topper with an acrylic slide topper.

What do you think?

Is it worth the extra dollars?

Does it last longer?

Thanks in advance for your thought.

Yes, as long as it is Sunbrella.

I went with the top line woven fabric via ShadePro. Great on all counts. $1200 for all 4 large slides, installed.

acrylic Slide Topper? What do you think? Worth it?

I recently replaced all three of my black acrylic slide toppers after 10 years of use. The largest of the three developed a slight rain water leak but the other two were fine. I replaced all of them just to be safe. 10 years is a good service life IMO. As already mentioned, Chris at Stone Vos is a good aftermarket supplier of premium slide topper and awning materials. His acrylic toppers look even more durable than my OE toppers, so I don't expect I'll have to replace them ever again.
