I just found some storage for my Class A diesel but the only power looks to be a standard outlet. I see some rigs have some sort of adapter to get to the 30 or 50A the other rigs must be running. What do you think that I can actually use that for? Should I bother plugging it in at all? Can I run an ac? What questions could I ask the storage place?

If your RV is 50A then you would need a 50A(F) to 30A(M) adapter and then a 30A(F) to 15A(M) adapter so you could plug into the standard outlet

that will allow you to power your RV for battery charging, lights etc.

50A/30A

30A/15A

OR you can get a 50A(F) to 15A(M) adapter

Yes, use it to keep your batteries charged. Just use a 50-30-15 amp adapter and plug it in.
IF everything else is off in the coach and no one else is pulling power from this circuit, you may be able to run 1 AC on it.

You need to verify what the outlet is rated at, 20 amp or 15 amp at 120 vac or something different. Then you can access what you can run in your rig then get your adapter/s that you need. If you try and overload the outlet you'll be tripping the breaker so choose wisely what you operate. I have my rig plugged into at 120 vac 20 amp circuit and use it to run my battery maintainers to keep the batteries at full capacity all the time.

You can buy a 50 to 20 adapter at Home Depot. I've gotten two of them. Nice since it's just one small unit but it's not UL listed which might be a problem in some areas but not at my house.

The one other thing to keep in mind is where is the standard 110 outlet at? If up high on a post or wall all the weight of your RV cord will cause the plug to come out of 110v outlet.
You may also need a good short 110v extension cord. Size 12 would be the smallest wire size I would use.

If your coach (btw, you should put what you have in your profile) has a system to “dial-down” the amperage pull, you could set it to 15A while in storage. Example, we have a Magnum system and I store at home on a 30A outlet. I set the Magnum and tell it that it has 15A shore power. Not 50A and not 30A, but 15A. That way, I feel more confident it won’t pop the 30A breaker. In storage, you need very little power. Just enough to trickle charge the batteries.

.....if other rigs in the storage unit are sharing your circuit and are not following all the good advice provided above, there is a good chance your circuit's breaker will trip on a regular basis. This is pretty common for most storage facilities that really don't design their electrical systems to accommodate your need for power. Accordingly, you will need to check your rig for power on a recurring basis....
