Adding insulation

I'd like to add insulation behind the overhead bulkhead/ front cap. I don't want to spray and cover wires or cables I may need access to in the future. I'm leaning towards foil and bubble towards exterior with denim or rockwool inside of that.

Would appreciate learned suggestions from your experience. Thank you.

Chuck

I'd think batt insulation would be easier to install and provide better coverage, it could also be removed for future repairs if needed

When I replaced my tv with a new one I insulated the top of the cap as it had next to none. I had a roll of Reflectix bubble wrap and used it right under the fiberglass top and filled the whole space with a lot of fiberglass batt insulation. I don't know how much it helped with the hvac or comfort levels but it made me feel better. This was my first motorhome and I was surprised at the lack of insulation. I am on my second motorhome and I am not as surprised now with the things I see and find.

We got rid of the TV above the dash and while the hole was open I insulated as far as I could reach. I put the Reflectix foil insulation against the fiberglass cap and packed fiberglass insulation under that.
