Adding oil to a Onan 7.5 side mounted diesel generator

I have a side mounted Onan 7.5 diesel generator that is not on a slide. The problem is I can't add oil to it because there is only 1 1/2 inches of clearance from the top and it is inset 5 inches from the side. Therefore, even with an extension I can not add oil. The only thing I can think of is to get a pressure injection oil spout. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My Allison transmission has even less room. I use a funnel with some plastic tubing from the hardware store stuck on the end. I hold the funnel outside and above the door with the tube in the fill port. It gravity flows in just fine.

I'd go with the tube and funnel - generator probably only holds 2+ qts of oil - I had the Onan rep change my oil/filer at the Orlando Tiffin Rally and my gas 7.0 generator was full with 2 qts of oil. Of course I'm cheap and like low tech solutions. Dave
