Adding puck lights to ceiling

We want to add led puck lights to the ceiling of our motorhome but can't find any instructions. Has anyone done this before?

Not sure what type of instructions you would be looking for. You can either get surface mount or recessed mount. Recessed mounting would require drilling large holes in the ceiling for the pucks and stringing wire between them, a switch, and the power. If you have a decent space between the ceiling panel and the roof and a power source nearby, it could be done. You would need to check each mounting position to see if there are any obstructions such as framing, wiring, or ductwork. You might be able to get a look by removing some exiting speakers, vents, etc. Depending on the unit, the ceiling might have solid foam which would make that difficult. The easiest would be to use surface mount lights. Then all you need to do is the wiring, either inside the ceiling or on the surface from light to light. Finding suitable locations and wiring access for the switches might present the biggest challenge. You would be limited to using only a certain number of cabinets although wireless switches may be an option. I look at is a job that is pretty difficult to do and still look good after completion.

What type of lights do you currently have in the ceiling if any? You could possibly run a jumper wire from them.

Adding puck lights to ceiling

If they are 12vdc lights id run them through the AC ducting. Trying to fish the length of the coach thru the ceiling would be very difficult. There are also often paths on each side at the ceiling wall intersection. Pushing a hole from the side to the roof would be much easier.
