My AC is from a 1991 Holiday Rambler - Coleman Model 6799A714 with 17" between the hole by length, this shroud is too small and the holes are closer together.

Do you need an RMA #? If so has the product been installed?
Fri, Nov 5 2010 2:12pm
No it has not been intalled and I need a RMA and shipping instructions but I also need the right shroud. Can you get me the right one?

My AC is a Coleman 6799A714 from a 1991 Holiday Rambler 31' Alumilite Class A.

Please put this number on the return label and ship your package within 5 days. Once your order is received inspected, you will be refunded as per our website returns policy. Please allow 10-21 business days after inspection for a refund. Please return to the address below via Fedex or UPS. Please be sure to insure your return package if the value is more than $100. Sorry, we do not accept returns via USPS parcel post.

I called Coleman and they no longer support or know of anyone who does support that model so a shroud is unavailable. I will return this today and I thank you for you quick response and help.
Fri, Nov 5 2010 2:31pm*-*staff
You are very welcome.
Fri, Nov 5 2010 3:20pm
I'm sorry but i just took the package over to the UPS Store and they want over $80 in shipping fees due to the size of the package not it's weight.

Could you email me a prepaid return label and charge it to my account to save me $60.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Fri, Nov 5 2010 3:31pm*-*staff
I am sorry we can not do that. You could sell it on Ebay if you didn't want to pay the shipping fees.

What a shame, it has happened to all of at one time or another...........talk about using your $$$$$$$$$$ and keeping it!!!! For self satisfaction, I would contact management to address such an ignorant remark as "You may want to sell it on ebay" from an employee. JMHO

Well, I believe in personal responsibility myself. I have many things around that I have accumulated because I ordered the wrong thing - - MY BAD! I do not hold the company's responsible for my errors.

When I order off the internet, I go over and recheck thoroughly to see if I'm ordering the correct part. If I'm not sure, I will pay more for it where I know I can return it if there is a problem. Even then it's crapshoot.

I offered to pay the full shipping costs, they get a discount but no. Since I live on a mountain top we pretty much due most of our shopping is by inet. A vendor such as this we have found to be rare.

Alas that is what competition is for. I interpret what Adventure RV is saying is that eBay is a better place to shop than Adventure RV.

In the future I will use one of their many competitors. I have found Dyer's to be excellent in the past.

Anyone need an AC shroud?

Put it on Craigslist in Phoenix, AZ. About 3 weeks ago we had a freak hail storm. My stick house roof is being replaced now. But the motorhome only need two A/C Shrouds. I figure many in the area need them and you might get lucky selling it here.

The support ticket does not state what Coleman model it does fit.
Is it for the Mach series 7000-8000?

I believe it is for the 700 and 800's but not the 900 series which is what I have but anyone interested should call coleman and find out.
It is a Tuff Maxx 325001 (white).

Except for the last sentence, it sounds like pretty good response from Adventure RV.

The buyer should always know the model number of what he is buying and if it would fit BEFORE purchase IMHO.

Since shipping cost so much. I would guess the OP will want to sale it as a Pick up at his location only.
