Im still looking for input as to the best place to shop for an aftermarket sofa and recliner for my 2005 Bounder. I looked on the Flexsteel web page, but find it hard to negotiate, no prices, and no local dealers.

Anyone have any ideas...

Send a message via Yahoo to Garbageman
You might check out www.rvresources.com and look under the parts category. I have found that web site quite helpful.

Welcome to our site. I am sure you will find the answers you need here. Lots of helpful people out there. My hubby bought a recliner at Camping world. He's a BIG man and he was very comfy & it fit the MH. Good luck in your searches.

Bradd & Hall is a good source for Flexsteel furntiure for RVs and they are reportedly good to work with.

Another place is Villa International. You have to download their order form to see prices, though.

Can you tell me something about your sofabed if it's still available? Color, dimensions, total length, open size, and price? We'll be in Mobile (Semmes) this weekend and have been looking for a sofabed to replace our jacknife sofabed for our two girls. My space between the dinette and forward wall is 76 1/2 inches. I think I can accomodate an 83 inch (or so) open length with the slide out.

If you wish, you may PM me at krhammett@aol.com.

Free2RV,

Sorry about the confusion. I was directing my reply to footdoc who had posted right above mine.

Here are a couple of sites you might check out, one is for new and the other is surplus stuff.

http://www.villainternational.com/index.htm
http://www.rvandvansurplus.com/barga...ehicletype=RV#

I have an 05 Bounder with a sofa/sleeper that I am thinking of replacing with another recliner. I've never pulled it out and it's like new.

Just an FYI, I sent you an e-mail to the id listed in your profile but it failed, timed out.

Good luck.

Not sure what you have in mind, but we found that Lazy boy's recliners and love seats/recliner's, backs slip off with ease and go into the rig with ease. We replaced our sofa and chair with Lazy Boys. We had them put a swivel base on the recliner and put the bolts for the chair location thu that base now it is great. This does not provide extra sleeping but sure is more comfortable.

Try this place for a Palliser euro. Prices are better than Bradd&Hall. http://www.discountleatherchair.com/...-recliner.html
