Agricultural Diesel Solutions Power Module

Has anyone had any experience with a Power Module from Agricultural Diesel Solutions?

Looking for feedback from CAT or Cummins owners that may have added a unit for their engine.

I periodically have researched solutions for the CAPS era ISC/ISL engines (Typically in 2004 and prior coaches.), and do not recall having seen this product before(?). (May have been around, and I just missed it in my last search.)

Most of the 'module/chip' approaches seem to only 'trick' the message from the ECM to the CAPS itself to produce more fuel. ADS says on their site, that they also adjust 'timing' too.

Mod's: Posted this here, vs one on the Cummins section and another duplicate post on the CAT section of the board.

Anyone have any info on their product line in general?

Best to all,
Smitty

I've used the "Ugly Fix" on a Cummins and it works quite well. It locks out the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) by replacing the altitude sensor. The Ugly Fix sensor tells the ECU the coach is at 7000' and it does not turn EGR on.

Thanks Vito. That is a different animal, and have also read good results on the Ugly Fix under the Cummins section of the forum.

I do want any feedback pro/con of anyone that has used a ADS module on any engine.

Since I have a CAPS era Cummins ISL, I just snuck in under the EGR additions. So Ugly Fix does not pertain to me specifically. (Well, my wife might like the sound of something to change what she looks at 7/24!)

Best,
Smitty

Just installed ADS today on my 2001 ISB 5.9 275 hp took for drive seems like faster to reach speed. Looking at rearview camera notice a little more black smoke. Hope maybe be able to climb the mountains a little easer.🤞 maybe get better mpg if I can keep my foot under control.

Only good things from that fix...lol. I have the EGR turned off on my Duramax. Our RV also does not have an EGR. I would also love to hear from others who have added anything to increase power.
