after installed when power is put to it it kicks off, did not change remote switch. this is in a 2001 dynasty that had a 2000 watt trace inverter. any help?

The trace remote control panel is not compatible and you will need to check into a panel for your new inverter. Also you will need to see if the data cable is correct. If not, the wiring can be changed to work if the number of conductors is not increased. Good luck and keep us posted.

Concur with what Mike offered. If you disconnect the non-compatible remote panel, the Inverter should run OK.

You didn't mention how the Inverter is shutting down. Is it popping its protective breaker?....or going into a FAULT mode? For the former, re-check how you wired the AC into and out-of the Inverter. A short or a reversal of hot & neutral might be found.
