Air Compressor running but not building Up

1993 37ft Winn Vectra Gas

My low air light is on and I hear the compressor running but the air is not building, can't Blow the Air Horn.

Any Suggestions where specifically to look. The tank is under the hood, I see it, the gauge reads 0

Is this an electric air compressor ?
Just for the air horns , or used for other air systems on your gas powered coach ?

You'll have to find the compressor , then start following the air lines looking for leaks. Easiest with the compressor running, wear eye protection.

Perhaps the air bag dump valve is open, either from failure or dirt blockage. If you hear air escaping after shutting off your engine, do as Skip said and follow the noise. It's easier if someone else shuts off the engine while you are standing by outside near the air bag controller.
