Air Horn and Wiper Blades

I own a 40' 2014 Newmar Vantana. I have 2 questions. Before I drive 2 hours to my dealer, can anyone offer any suggestions.
1: Is there a trick to getting the wiper blades off the arm. Both ends are ripping. I don't want to push or pull too hard and break the whole arm. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
2: The coach has been sitting since September. (surgery) When I finally drove it yesterday, it sounds like only one air horn is working and the other one sounds like it is coming down with something. Again, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

For the wipers, there are two ways to fix.
Replace the rubber only, or the entire arm (the frame that holds the rubber strip.

Usually to remove the strip, there is a clip at one end that you have to pinch.
The rubber strip normally has a metal rib that slides into a "T" slot on the arm.

AND Usually if you want to remove the arm, most of them attach to a "J" shaped metal piece.....this is the straight piece that goes down to the motor.

You might have water in your horn, or it is corroded....there is a vibrating metal reed that makes the noise...and it is not doing its job. Maybe try WD40.

Regards,

Dan

How to remove and replace your wiper blades
There are 3 different methods of attachment, each is explained. There is a forth method, but it was discontinued over 10 years ago.
The air horn may have an insect nest inside, the only way to know is to disassemble it and clean everything while apart.

Neither of my air horns were working and it turned out to be mud dobber nests in each. Super easy job to unscrew the ends and clean it out including the aluminum reed. They work great now. If that doesn't do it you may need to replace the air horn solenoid, which is also easy once you locate the solenoid on your coach.
