Air hose on reel
Does anyone use a reel and air hose hookup in their coach? If so, do you leave hose hooked up? We have amble room in forward bays where (2) quick release air supply points--one on each side--are located in forward bay wall. Air loss shouldn't be a problem. On my home compressor/tank air does not leak and pressure stays constant as long as attachment is not inserted.

I suppose it could be done, never thought about it. I would add a cut off valve so you can be assured you could never get a leak that could effect your brakes or suspension.

Amen to 38 Special, if you left it hooked up, and the hose blows out, you
will be in for a very big surprise. Not a good idea, at all !

You can get a tap with a lever handle on it for air systems like they use between commercial trailers and just shut it off when not using. You can probably get one at any truck parts supply.

I have one in my Providence  .
Went to Lowe's and purchased the air hose a reel in the tools dept. Installed it on a bracket next to the Onan in the front. Plenty room in that area. Put a male fitting on the reel end and a female on the hose end. I don't leave it connected, but it takes a second to connect it to the fitting on the manifold. I think the hose is 50' so it will reach all the tires. Kids like it for the bicycles and beach toys.

Thank you Poppy. I didn't anticipate leaving hose attached permanently. I'll check Lowe's.
