Air Ride Systems

I have a 2006 Thor Magellan Class A Gas. I took the unit to my local service shop to have Air Lift 5000 suspension air bags installed. I was called out to the shop today where they showed to me how these units were not going to fit the rear to a clearance issue. We called Air Lift and they are telling us that we should not have an issue unless the GVW is over 26k which info I can find shows that is not.
Is anyone aware of an airbag suspension system for a Thor, Four Winds Class A Gas motorhome.

Is the issue where the top brackets bolt to the frame?

There are two seperate issues. The first one and the minor of the two is the top round plate hits the inside splash plate and will need to notched out. The bigger of the two issues is the bottom round plate does not have the clearance. The mounting plate has two seperate mounting holes for the air bag, depending on what your GVW is and if you mount the airbag in one of the holes the bottom round plate rubs on the tire and rim and if it is mounted on the inside mounting hole the bottom round plate rubs on the actual frame. I was looking online at the Firestone Ride Rite and they have a footnote that their air bags fit all F53 chassis with the Thor excluded from the list. I was also looking at the HWH Air Ride System but can't find a system for a Gas class A.

Ahhhhh.

It's the Firestone Ride Rite bags that I installed on the rear of my F53, but it's not on a Thor coach. I had to cut off some coach builders tabbing where my top mounts bolt to the frame, but no clearance issues at all on the bottom.
