My new 2008 Bounder came with "airless" extensions on the inner rear duals. When attempting to measure my air pressure with a gauge, it reads nothing. When manually depressing the dill valve, there is no
air there. How do I measure my air pressure on these tires?

Are they connected to the shreader valve? Some extensions can be adjusted and it may not be depressing the valve core in shreader valve. If you adjust this yourself be sure to check for leaks when you are done. Let us know what you find.

The instructions on mine said to turn the end piece in until the air came out and then back it up until the air stopped.
I did that carefully and used a commercial leak detector fluid to check it, but after about a month found the air had leaked out of the tires.
I took them off at that point.

I tried the airless stems on a dually pick up that I used to have. They were constantly coming unscrewed and keeping me from checking the air in the tires. I took them off. The replacement valves that are longer and made for each application is the only way to go.
