Well,
While I'm not a real fan of how those baby moons (with "Freightliner" insignia instilled) are retained onto the wheels, I've only lost one in four years and, 20K miles. Each time I remove them for maintenance on that particular wheel/brake/hub, I inspect those little metal tangs to see what kind of condition they're in and, if the contact points are still sharp and strong.

I'm suspecting that the one I lost, was due to my not insuring it was ultra-securely mounted, like I have done from the time I lost it. The cost of those with the Freightliner insignia on them is considerably higher than a stock, baby moon from a Freightliner dealer so, you don't want to loose them if possible.

I like the ones presented in the picture(s) though. If, for some odd reason, I lost both my front "Moons" at one time, I'd maybe think of changing over to those. That is, if they would fit my particular rims.
