Alladin System Accuracy

My 2007 Holiday Rambler Imperial 42PBQ has the "Alladin" system. I see that I can reset the fuel remaining when I fill and it automatically resets to 130 gallons which is the capacity of the tank. My question is, how accurate is the system? If it says I have 30 gallons remaining, can I count on that and if not, does anyone have experience with what error range there might be?

If you want to take a risk try it. Otherwise it's best to go by the fuel gauge.

Just hope the fuel pick up tube is longer than the one for the genny. My genny stops sucking fuel between 1/4 and 1/3. Closer to 1/3 if on State or County road. The book says 1/4.

The builders do that on purpose so you don't run the entire coach out of fuel running the generator. That would make for a very bad day.

It is my understanding that it is very accurate but it only measures the fuel used by the engine. You have to remember what you have used in the generator and aqua hot then subtract those gallons as the Aladdin system does not track those gallons.

I have tried to compare my actual usage to the Aladdin and it seem to be very close especially on trips where I do not use the generator or aqua hot.

I agree. My scan gauge and my Aladdin agree very closely with each other.

The Aladdin gets its data from the engine ECM and if the tire revs per mile is correct in the ECM then the Aladdin mpg is very accurate. This is engine over the road g of course. The Aladdin has no way of allowing for usage by the generator or AH.
