We want to replace the floor from the captains chairs to the bedroom with this product. Our concern is we have 2 opposing slides and are not sure how to get it under both slides. This is the no glue product but rather it clicks and locks much like regular laminate flooring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The last fleetwood we did, We just ran the slide out about 95% of the way. Pushed the top out and gently pried the floor of the slideout up. Naturally, you cant run it all the way out, beause it locks in place.

Thanks for the reply. And did you run the slide the rest of the way out or go outside and push the top back in before retracting? I never thought about that thanks.

We just made sure all tools and wedges were out of the way, then ran the slide all the way out (this squares the slide back up) And finally retracted the slide.

I forgot to warn you about the slides. If you have carpet, the manuf. many times just uses a slick metal bottom on the slideout. It just glides across the carpet. This metal will scratch the wood. The best fix we found was to reverse a piece of carpet and glue and attach it to the bottom of the slide. If it has rollers, You have to make sure they dont have any foreign objects ( metal fragments,staples,etc) embedded in them.

Thanks for the good input. We use a product called SlideSlicker over the carpet now, and I was just going to attach carpet to the bottom for the slide to come in on. Thanks Again.
