hey all,

nhjones here. Been watching this forum for a few months. Generally good info and discussion. Soooo...been looking to buy a motorhome for general travel fun. Have found this 2004 Holiday Rambler DP with 36k miles on a 330 cummins motor. Its been well cared for and stored indoors. Asking 79K. Anyway, am anxious about the purchase. Probably won't be using it a whole bunch this year, as iI am still a working stiff. But it seems to be a good find. I will not offer the asking price, but if I offer and its accepted would you jump. Scary stuff

Hey NHJones...

Don't wait too long to join us...LOL!!!! We may leave you in the dust..... Seriously, that RV seems to be priced well if you are convinced that it has been well cared for and you like the floorplan. That is really important...you need to feel comfortable inside. And please do not say that it will not be used enough this year...I am still working, but I load hubby and the pups into the RV as often as I can and even if we only travel 30 miles away...we are still on "vacation". It is a state of mind and you need to embrace the zone....

Load the RV up with clothes and staples so that you can hit the road at a moment's notice.

My baby brother died a few months ago at 50 years of age and his gravestone does not say that he enjoyed working 80 hours a weeks...He kept promising to slow down and smell the roses, but he never did. I am determined to show the rest of my family how to enjoy life as baby brother never did....

Go for it!!!!

$80k? Come on, go for it. I have 13 yr old twins and we use ours about 30 nights a year. I think that is a lot! $80k is the almost what I got off retail for our coach!! Money well spent, can't take it with you and enjoy it while you have your health.
