Alpine IVA-W505 XM Radio

Since this is the busiest section on our forum ... thought I'd post a quick question to the largest audience ...
When we bought our coach last fall it had the Alpine W505 install with a Sirius radio subscription and nav .... the PO let the subscription run until a few months ago when he picked up his new coach and transferred the subscription ....
Now the radio appears to be locked up ... will not function at all ... comes on but will not respond to any of the controls, either on the unit or the remote ...
Has anyone dealt with these units before or had a similar experience with a like unit ????
I'm really not interested in getting a subscription for Sirius as we can not justify the cost ... just want to use the normal radio and iPod .....

Sounds like the code needs to be re-entered. Look at the tech books and you are likely to find something referring to that. You may end up calling Alpine mfg with the serial number for help
